PR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Liberty PR is seeking an ambitious account executive to join our growing team and support the agency as it expands.

The role would suit a graduate or someone with one to two years’ PR or journalism experience.

We need an exceptional writer who is accurate, creative and willing to learn the ways we achieve success for our clients. There’s no templating of press releases – we create original, newsworthy content.

We work with partners across the UK to commission photography and video. We manage events, create bespoke publications, engaging social media content and build relationships with journalists in a variety of sectors. In everything we do, the needs of our clients always come first, and we expect to be judged on the results we deliver.

The role will involve writing, media relations, arranging video and photography, working with third parties to arrange events and activities, research, pitching in with creative ideas, tracking jobs through our administrative systems and reporting on results.

The successful candidate must be a fast learner who thrives on multi-tasking. PRCA training and in-house support will be provided and there are real opportunities for career advancement. We’re committed to promoting from within and we’re keen to find people who can grow with the business.

This is an office-based role in Market Harborough and it’s essential that you have your own transport.

PR ACCOUNT MANAGER

Liberty PR is looking for a PR account manager to join our growing team.

There’s no templating of press releases – we produce newsworthy content which is overseen by a talented editorial team.

The account manager is the client’s key contact at the agency. The successful candidate will be able to keep track of a large volume of jobs progressing through the system. They will be adept at writing and proof-reading copy and have the confidence and creative flair to ensure we are always bringing new and innovative ideas to our clients.

You may already be an account manager, or an experienced PR account executive looking to take a step up. You will have the support of a fantastic team and PRCA training is provided.

Initiative is a must. You’ll also need the kind of people skills that can’t be taught, unwavering attention to detail and an aptitude for juggling many and varied tasks.

The role is based at our office in Market Harborough. Nationwide travel will be required and you will need your own transport.

What we produce is not typical PR agency content. There are no templated press releases. We approach each task individually and agree the best way to proceed. We create newsworthy content that journalists want to use. It is accurate and most importantly, it’s interesting.

Building relationships with journalists is equally important. We keep in regular contact to understand their needs and build our content plans with this in mind.

Then there’s our clients – they sit at the heart of everything we do. The successful candidate will have the commercial awareness to identify the news within clients’ businesses, then present it in a way that’s faithful to their brand.

Our business is growing and so is our team. We are looking for a content writer or journalist who is seeking a new challenge. You could have two years’ experience or 20 – finding the right person is our priority.

The role is varied. You could be interviewing clients’ customers, devising thought leadership on behalf of a client and writing a video script in the same day. Ideally you will have experience in proof-reading and editing content, or the aptitude to learn.
